It is amazing how animals reproduce so fast, e.g.; spiders, fish, butterfly etc…..This theory is what brought me the topic I am going to share with you now. Ants. Well most of us just squash them and flick them away when we spot them. Ants are annoying pests that can infest your home or yard. Killing the ants you see won’t help solve the larger problem of eliminating the colony. The only way to be sure is to kill the queen ant. Without her, the ant colony will be completely wiped out in a few months.. I will now teach you guys how to ‘dispose’ them to get rid of them forever(temporarily). Before I share that with you, do follow me and get the latest blog which I will frequently post (daily).

If you are the panicky type, please do not panic-it’s just an ant, you are about a hundred to a thousand times bigger than an ant, so there is no reason you should be scared (for exception to those suffering to a disease or condition)-remain calm and scream for your husband or parents etc…..;π—œπ— π— π—˜π——π—œπ—”π—§π—˜π—Ÿπ—¬.

Those who are bold and brave, you can skip the first step ( no offense to the panicky type), do not kill the ants first, identify the type of ants when you spot one or more, here is a list of different type of ants :

1.Scout ants-Scout antsΒ search for food and bring signals and scents back to the workerΒ antsΒ that then join theΒ scout antΒ back to the source of the food. If you see a trail or cluster ofΒ ants, aΒ scout antΒ has already sent word back to the colony that there are food sources available and that it needs backup. Usually, they are looking for food or nesting ground to lay eggs in. They are fast and run about in every direction.

2.Female Worker ants-TheΒ worker antsΒ are femaleΒ antsΒ and most of them stay in theΒ antΒ nest and complete tasks like tending to the young. A colony ofΒ antsΒ can contain more than one queen, but this depends on what species it is. These ants are the ants found in trails and they are slow.

3.Carpenter ants-Carpenter ants follow trails. Just watch them wandering about on your wooden porch until they strike a trail of pheromones (chemicals ants use for communication) that another ant has laid down. Carpenter ants are generally much larger than the regular ant. Carpenter ants have a head that is shaped like a heart, while regular ants have a more circular head. The thorax of the carpenter ant is also more symmetrical than a regular breed.

4.Queen ant-A queen ant (formally known as a gyne) is an adult, reproducing female ant in an ant colony; generally she will be the mother of all the other ants in that colony. Queen offspring ants develop from larvae specially fed in order to become sexually mature among most species.

Once you are done identifying the different type of ant/ants, once again do not kill the ant. If you identified the ant/ants as a scout ant, quickly kill it, because if one or more has return to its colony it may give information to the colony and could built a nest at your cozy home (which you would not want that).

If you identified the ant/ants as a Female worker ant, look closely at the ant, if you see a white dot on them, they are most likely ‘moving house’ to your home. Follow the trail; identify the start and end point of the trail. Once you have identified it, use your insecticide-I recommend the Baygone spray:https://www.google.com/searchq=baygon&sxsrf=ALeKk03A-bDKz5uipGyCj2ZK-Esu8vMMeQ:1623666720280&source=lnms&tbm=shop&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiE2-Hw9ZbxAhVdgtgFHXZlD9QQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&biw=1280&bih=824(not sponsored)-to spray the end point and the start point of the trail.

If you identified the ant/ants as a carpenter ant, kill them too before they worsen the ant trails.

If you identified the ant/ants as a Queen ant, kill it π—œπ— π— π—˜π——π—œπ—”π—§π—˜π—Ÿπ—¬ . Do be careful as the queen ant is the strongest ant in the colony and could fight back. If a queen were to die, there would be no one to replace her (female worker ants cannot reproduce) and the colony will eventually die out. It won’t be an immediate end to the colony, but eventually, the population will slowly dwindle and die out since there is no queen to replace her lost numbers.

I hope you find this helpful and thank you for take your time to read my blog. See you tomorrow!

Spoiler alert!!!!: I would post the topic on books tomorrow!
